The roulette wheel is comprised of several segments or pockets that are numbered from 1 to 36, plus 0 (and 00 if using the American roulette wheel). The zeros are arranged facing each other and are colored green while the rest of the numbers separated into odds and evens alternate into red or black.
Players place their bets on a felt-covered roulette table which has the same numbers as in the roulette wheel but with several additional options (‘outside bets’), such as Red/Black, Odd/Even, and High/Low. Roulette betting may involve a single number, called Straight Up, or several groups of numbers, such as Line bets and Outside bets.

Another simple casino game is one that involves slot machines. In slot machine gambling, the player finds himself playing against chance and a machine with spinning reels. To operate the slot machine and spin the reels, the player needs only to pull a single lever found usually to the right of the machine.
The slot machine reels may display various symbols, such as fruits and other objects. After the player pays a sum of money, he would then spin the slots machine reels and wait for the combination that would give him a win.
The aim of slot machine gambling is to match the reel combination with the winning line displayed on the machine. In some slot machine games, there may be several combinations displayed, diagonal or horizontal.
There is a variation of slot machine gambling called the progressive slot machine game. This is where several slot machines are networked together to form a group. The percentage of winnings on each slot machine in the network is added to the big jackpot.

Roulette and slot machines can also be played online or over the Internet. Many online casinos offer these two simple games for players who want to experience fun gambling. Online roulette and slot machines follow the same basic rules as those found in land-based casinos with little or no deviation.
